For two consecutive years Sapientis developed a fellowship of educators that were trained in adaptive leadership with the purpose of helping them confront their school challenges with innovative strategies. The program concluded in June with over 10 educators from around the island that created and started to implement strategies to solve specific problems in their schools with the intention of contributing to improve the student’s academic achievement.
Front-Line Educators fellows were invited to join and have an active role in the Vanguards for Education Program, a group of education promoters of the Coalition for an Equity and High-Quality Education. This will allow them to continue applying the adaptive leadership model concepts in the movement efforts to advocate for the transformation of the public education system.
