The Coalition for Equity and High Quality Education (CECE, for its Spanish acronym) is a diverse and informed movement of committed individuals who want to improve the quality of the public education in Puerto Rico. The group is comprised of people that have a genuine interest in contributing to guarantee an excellent education to every student and to do it they:
Keep informed about the challenges the education system confronts and the initiatives to transform it.
Inform others about the importance of contributing to improve the quality of the public education and motivate them to be part of the movement.
Participate in capacity building and mobilization activities with the purpose of creating awareness about the importance of making public education a top priority and promoting a transformation of the public education system.
Participate in projects that aim to transform the public education system.
You can become a member of CECE, take action now! The groups in which you can participate are:
Members- people that keep informed and inform others about the challenges of the public education system and participate in the movement activities.
Vanguards for Education- individuals who advocate for the public education system in the Legislature and other groups. They also develop short term projects to help improve the schools.
Youth for Education- college students who create awareness in the society about the importance of making education a top priority in the Island.
