There are only two weeks left for young women and young binaries, aged between 18-25 years, to submit their application to the National program on young women’s leadership: great ideas! Youth in action!.
A complete program to strengthen the leadership of young women
The national young women’s leadership program: Great ideas! Youth in action! Is a leadership program complete and bilingual? It includes modules for learning online, the conferences, self-study, mentoring and the peer support, activities of citizen action and a forum of immersive training and networking for three days.
Based on the intersectional feminism and social justice, this program has been designed to allow young women to Canada to appeal the knowledge and skills needed to be leaders and agents of change in their community and elsewhere.
YWCA Canada on the premise that the best way to strengthen the leadership of young women is to offer participants the opportunity to experience new things that will make them out of their comfort zone, to develop their skills through the practice and think about what they have experienced.
The national young women’s leadership program runs from December to June 2018 2019 and comes in several types of activities:
- Presentations and workshops of online learning
- Mentoring and peer support
- Forum of intensive leadership training (3 days)
- Community action days
Registration and scholarship application
If you are between 18 and 25 years old and you live in Canada, you can apply to pay your registration and travel, including accommodation and meals expenses.
The submission period extends from September 11 to November 25, 2018.
